The penthouse is truly a dream! It is very well equipped with everything and everything is new. The description and pictures correspond exactly to reality - if not even nicer. We felt at home. The contact with Jane was excellent from the beginning, very fast and very friendly. We spent 14 days in the penthouse and will definitely be back.

Great amenities, everything for a great vacation is available. Spacious furnishings, ideal for 4 people. The apartment is in a great location, very sunny and the view magnificent. Jane is a perfect host, well organized, the contact was very warm from the beginning and she was always easily accessible. No question, we will be happy to come back!

We spent 9 fabulous days in this beautiful apartment. It is really well equipped and more (like pool towels, straw hats, baskets, first dining kits, edible...) It feels at home as soon as you enter it. The decor is really tasteful. Little touches await us at check-in. The terrace is sumptuous. We like to be both inside and out. It was really hard to leave this little corner of heaven...

Jane is great, responsive and attentive. The penthouse is spacious enough to accommodate two couples. The bedrooms are well equipped, there are two bathrooms and two toilets. The kitchen is well designed and complete. The decoration is done with taste and subtlety. The barbecue is functional, the terrace is huge, beautiful and sunny. There's nothing missing, Jane has thought of everything for your comfort. The explanations are clear and precise to arrive, leave, and enjoy. Everything is extremely clean, airco everywhere... It's a good idea to have a way to get around such as scooters or quad bikes to get from one village to the next. On foot it's less funny, the gozitan streets are not intended for pedestrians. Jane's penthouse apartment is just outstanding - a very special location! The location in Xaghra is very central for making excursions everywhere on Gozo, a supermarket for the most important things around the corner. The apartment was super clean on arrival, the amenities are excellent, the kitchen lacks nothing, the barbecue on the magnificent terrace is the ultimate luxury. Overall, the furnishings are as loving in every detail as we have rarely experienced it in a rental. Communication with Jane is quick and always helpful. It has extremely detailed information, so that no questions remain unanswered. I can recommend Jane's place in every way and will come back for sure!

A real dream vacation! The apartment is very nicely located with magnificent sea views. The apartment lacks nothing, super awesome amenities and everything very high-quality! The description matches the original 1:1. We felt super comfortable here and will come back for sure.

We had a fantastic experience staying at Jane's apartment. The space was excellent. The quality of furnishings, the outside space on the terrace were all first class. A very nice touch was the toiletries from Molton Brown in the bathrooms as well as the welcome basket with essentials to get us started.The pool area was brilliant too! There was a local shop just around the corner so just a few minutes walk. The village centre was around a 15/20 minute walk away and there were several lovely restaurants set in the village square to choose from. Communication from Jane was excellent, responding very quickly. Maddie the housekeeper was a phone call away. Jane put us in touch with transfers to and from Malta and very reasonable car hire too, enabling us to easily visit more of the island and its beaches. Jane's accommodation deserves the highest of stars and 5 is no where near enough.. I will be singing her praises to all that will listen. Thanks for a fantastic holiday!!

We were very satisfied with our stay at Janes and Simons Penthouse. It is a wonderful apartment; tasteful, well equipped, generous and beautiful. The comfortable beds and the fantastic terrace almost makes you want to stay in the penthouse all day (but don´t because Gozo is lovely). The apartment is just the way it looks like in the pictures, but even better. The description given by Jane and Simon on Aribnb is very well consistent with how it is. The whole atmosphere both in the apartment and in all the quick and extensive information given to us before and during our stay, was very generous. We absolutely recommend the Penthouse to others. It was one of our best Airbnb experiences.

Jane's apartment is the perfect place to stay at Gozo. We loved everything about it, the stylish furniture, the very finest equipment and of course the wonderful terrace. The communication before and during the stay was perfect. Jane is a perfect host and provided us with a lot of good recommendations for a nice stay. Just follow them and you will have a fabulous time. We used public transport to explore the island of Gozo. The bus stop is just a two minute walk away from the penthouse and offers direct connection to the town centre, Marsalforn, the ferry or Ramla Bay (which you could also reach with a short walk). So from the penthouse it is easy getting around even without a rental car. We would definitely choose this beautiful place again.

The flat is wonderful. Exactly as described in the ad. The terrace has a great view, great to take a sun bath, have a barbecue or just chill :) I definitely would recommend this place. Ramla Bay is a 10 to 15 min walk away. My wife, our 8 year old son and I had a wonderful week. Thanks Jane for being such a great host.

Imagine the best bits of every AirBnB you’ve ever stayed in combined - that’s what get here in this really special Gozo penthouse. Jane and Simon clearly have a passion for this which you can see through all their efforts, attention to detail and level of care they offer. The apartment has been well thought through with lots of great finishing touches from sunbeds and parasols to Netflix and even a lovely bottle of Prosecco on arrival! There is total privacy at their apartment, a huge balcony and all the amenities you really need. There’s a small grocery store less than 5 mins walk away and some fantastic restaurants also nearby (but driving distance). I’d definitely recommend getting a car, the roads are pretty clear and its easy to get about with google maps. Jane recommended a car rental company which we used. If you’ve not been to Gozo before then you’re in good hands as the hosts know all the best spots - from watersports to massages and we even ordered a home cooked meal straight to the apartment for one lazy evening in! Thank you Jane & Simon, I’ve never met such welcoming and organised hosts. We’ll be sending friends your way!

We highly recommend this flat. Decoration and design are beautifull. We also loved the terrace with great views on the fields and sea. Pool also great and relaxing. All equipments and comfort available. Location is calm. Local trucks come with bread, vegetables and fish everyday, which is really convenient. Big thanks to Jane for all the usefull infos and attentions as well as to Maddie who received us and keeps the flat perfectly clean. We would come back any time.

Jane’s beautiful apartment exceeded all our expectations. It is equipped to a very high standard and furnished inside & out very stylishly. With lovely views over the countryside and the sea the outdoor space with BBQ and lots of seating options is a particular feature. We hired a car but several times walked into Xaghra (15-20 min walk) to visit the local restaurants all of which we enjoyed. Nothing is very far away, we enjoyed some diving on the island with both north & south dive sites within easy driving distances. Janes careful attention to detail before, during and after our stay was brilliant, putting us in touch with transfer options and car hire. Everything was completely hassle free. We would without question recommend this amazing apartment for anyone looking for something a little bit special in a lovely peaceful location.

We loved the penthouse. The beautiful interior the fab outside space, the location close to sandy beach but ideal base for touring. If you want to relax in a wonderful space in peaceful surroundings I highly recommend this property. Jane was extremely helpful and accommodating.

We had a wonderful stay at Jane's apartment . Although the website for the property is first class and packed full of information / recommendations it was the personal input from Jane that was really appreciated . Nothing was too much trouble and there was real and enthusiastic effort to make sure you had the best stay possible .As for the apartment, it really is exceptional and had the wow factor as far as we were concerned . It was a lovely touch also to be greeted and shown around the property which was beautifully decorated with real attention to detail and so comfortable and spacious .The balcony/ terrace is expansive with beautiful views and a great BBQ .We ate in most nights but it still felt special with such comfortable surroundings .We really cannot say enough about the quality of the apartment and the service provided . We will be back !!!

Beautiful apartment. Decorated and furniture to a high standard with attention to detail. The veranda is outstanding. Absolutely everything is thought of and accessible. Not too far to walk but we hired a car which was a brilliant way to travel around. Would highly recommend a visit to the Garden Terrace and T Tona restaurants. Jane’s place is a perfect holiday spot for one or two couples. The penthouse has a nice design, it is clean and spacious. The large amazing outdoor terrace has nice views of the sea and a great grill. We also loved the outdoor shower. The building’s pool is a nice place to swim and read after a day in the hot sun. Malta can be hot so the excellent AC was a godsend. The local caretaker, Maddie, was wonderful and was very responsive to our requests and questions. Jane’s website is very good, with suggestions and instructions. Additionally both Jane and Maddie provided good local information.

Beautiful apartment, very thoughtfully and tastefully designed in a great location which enabled us to cover Gozo within 15 minutes from one end to the other. Both Jane and Maddie were the most generous, responsive and considerate hosts, staying in contact and providing us updates whenever we needed them. Whenever we visit Gozo, this will always be our first preference, if available.

I had a wonderful stay in this exceptional apartment - if there was an option for 6 stars I would award them! The penthouse is beautifully and tastefully decorated, and very well equipped. It’s truly a home from home - though far more luxurious than my own home! It’s sparklingly clean, beds are comfortable, showers are powerful with plenty of hot water, WiFi is fast, and the views from the terrace are fabulous. There’s a well-stocked grocery store just a short walk away, and a pleasant stroll up to the centre of Xaghra. The only ‘downside’ is it’s so wonderful relaxing here - especially on the terrace - that you’ll feel reluctant to leave and go sightseeing ;) I hope to come back and stay again soon.

Number 16 is absolutely perfect. Jane has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. The penthouse is stylish with gorgeous views and a great wrap around terrace. Spotlessly clean with plenty of spare towels, pillows etc. etc. Also, Jane has put together a very detailed guest guide with useful information on all the amenities both inside the property and the surrounding area. Absolutely loved our stay at the penthouse, beautifully decorated, that accomateded for all our needs and more. Janes had thought of everything you require with added finesse . The views from the penthouse were stunning overall it was a very relaxing and calming space. The location was great with 2 local villages just a short walk away to many bars, restaurants and shops, the was a local shop at the corner of the road with a bus stop for easy travel around the island. Highly recommended and cant wait for another visit.

My three girlfriends and I stayed here for five nights, and it was absolutely perfect in every way. The apartment, for starters, is exactly as pictured. The terrace was so serene! My only complaint is that we didn’t spend more time here relaxing, because Gozo had so much to offer! Ramla Beach was a 20 minute walk away and the town (15 min walk) had several delicious restaurants. Jane and the receptionist, Tony, were both incredibly responsive and offered lots of great tips and advice for what to see and do. We booked a private boat one day (using the company Jane recommended) and had the most magical day. All in all, if you want to spend your time in Gozo (which you should!) this is hands-down the place to stay!

This is a very stylish, comfortable and beautiful place all the comforts you would need and then some more. A perfect base for exploring Gozo and all he hosts were quick to reply to questions and advice. Highly recommended and would go back 100%.

I had read the many glowing reviews but the apartment still exceeded my expectations. It is extremely well appointed, sparklingly clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need- inside and out. It’s in a great location, peaceful with lovely views from the huge terrace (great for Yoga -on the mats provided). Easy communication & check in and tons of useful local info. We had a fabulous holiday and I would not hesitate to re-book if returning to Gozo.

A beautiful penthouse apartment where everything has been thought through to provide the perfect stay. The interior was fantastic with a classic Moroccan shabby chic style. The wraparound terrace with outdoor shower was divine. The shared pool was easily accessed and beautifully clean and tidy. A great Airbnb which we would highly recommend!

The penthouse was sophisticated, clean, full of facility. So amazing! It locates the beautiful, serine countryside. I really liked the nice, spacious terrace where I did yoga every morning and night, seeing the sunrise and the stars. Jane was so attentive and helpful from the very first (when I asked some questions before booking) to the end. She sent me messages at the nice timings. So I never worried about my staying even though this was the first time for me to stay at BnB. Tony and Mandy who hosted me at the penthouse were so kind and helpful as well. Overall I really enjoyed staying here. I finally found my utopia! I will definitely be back!

Jane is a wonderful host at all fronts. Communication was always quick, easy and pleasant. Check-in was super uncomplicated and we were personally welcomed by Tony who looks after the apartment. Her rooftop apartment is perfectly equipped with all you need for a comfortable stay. It's wonderfully furnished and planned with a beautiful personal touch and lot of attention to detail. The spacious patio offers lots of seating opportunities for both chilling and eating occasions, outdoor shower, great barbecue and lovely views over land to the sea. The pool is in the little garden on the ground floor and feels very private. The location itself is great too, easy to walk into the village with some nice and casual bars & restaurants, close to the beach (Ramla Bay) and convenient to start daily excursions over the island. Would definitely book again whenever we should return to Gozo and can highly recommend Janes place for your upcoming Gozo trip.

Jane's penthouse is just perfect, in every respect. This is a luxury penthouse, where everything is high quality, and so stylish, it must have cost a fortune to fit-out. The huge, sunny terrace has everything you need. Best of all, all windows & 3 sets of sliding doors, have fly screens. So I only found 2 insects in the penthouse, over 7 days. I normally get bitten to shreds by mozzies. Here - nothing! Aircon & TV in every room, plus high speed WiFi. It was everything I hoped for, and more. Minor problems with technical things (I was too dumb to work out how the hob worked LOL!) Jane responded by WhatsApp, 3 times, all in under 5 minutes - amazing! The little corner shop is 1 minute walk away, and has everything I needed. I recommend hiring a moped to explore Gozo. I had a brilliant time, working on my laptop in the morning, then scooting around on 50cc in afternoons. I cannot begin to tell you how lovely my stay at Jane's penthouse was. She is the perfect host, even though we have never met. I didn't use the pool area, as it was out of season. but I can imagine that in the summer, it would be smashing. The whole block is modern, clean, and safe.

The apparent is just as amazing as it looks in the photos. Jane was a super host and promptly answered any questions I had. I’m not sure if the pool is heated or not but it was the perfect temperature. The shop around the corner sells just about everything you need. Would definitely return.

Search no more, this is THE PLACE. It’s time for Airbnb to have a category for “Amazing Host”, Super is good but once you’ve stayed at SixteenGozo, it totally changes the benchmark. So well... everything you need or wish for is in the drawers and cupboards, the terrace will leave everlasting memories and the location, 5 min away from Ramla bay (best beach, out of question) is perfect. Your only regret after staying at SixteenGozo is that you didn’t extend your stay. Been there, done that... humility apart, SixteenGozo is PERFECT !

The massive terrace is absolutely brilliant, we spent a lot of time out there enjoying the peace and lovely views and BBQing. I have stayed in dozens of Airbnb’s and this is by far the best we have ever stayed in. The communication from Jane is first class and a very smooth check in. The penthouse itself is first class with everything you need for a very relaxing stay. Its more like a luxury home away from home. She supplied so many extras we couldn’t think of anything we needed. It was about a 10-15 walk into the town centre but we used Bolt most days to get around which was very cheap.

Excellent apartment in a really great location. Everything has been done to a very high standard and that meant instant relaxation. Quiet complex with well kept grounds and communal pool. Stunning countryside and sea views from the penthouse terrace. Close by to all the local amenities in Xhagra. The hosts Jane and Simon were super responsive with communication and have thought of everything you could possibly need for any length of stay. Up amongst the top tier of Airbnb properties. Can't wait to return.

Traveling from NYC staying at Janes gave my friends and I the best experience in Gozo. The apartment was in the best location because it was easily accessible to all of the beaches and towns. The apartment was immaculate. It was the best decor and had everything you would need (even for 3 girls). We loved spending time on the private terrace and lounging by the pool meeting other residents. Will be staying at Janes the next I come!

Jane's place is incredibly beautiful and such a wonderful place to stay. It is beautifully decorated, so comfortable with every little detail and home comfort thought through and available. The terrace is amazing and the views over the island and to the sea are wonderful. The location is quiet and peaceful. The development that the property is in is quite a small block and so the pool was quiet and we met some lovely people during the times there were people there. I couldn't recommend Jane's place more highly and Jane was so welcoming and accomodating. I wish we could have stayed longer, and we will be back if we come back to Gozo!

This is the most amazing apartment and Jane has gone out of her way to make it a home with everything you could possibly need. We loved our stay so much and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Jane’s apartment is stunning. The pictures, whilst beautiful, don’t do it justice. The interior decor is incredible, but the crowning glory is the terrace. We’ve stayed in some amazing air b n b’s but that terrace beats them all. The view is incredible, over local farm land and out to sea and the way it’s laid out means you get the sun any time of day. Our visit was out of season so the weather was a bit hit and miss, but it’s testament to the apartment that we were just as happy sat indoors watching the rain, as we were on the sunny days relaxing on the terrace. Jane provides every home comfort you can think of, and communication was always fast and informative. Whilst a car is necessary on Gozo we had a few days were we didn’t drive anywhere. The apartment is close to local amenities and restaurants and we walked down to Ramla Bay which is only a 15/20 minute walk away, as long as you’re ok with hills. We can’t wait to come back one day (hopefully in the summer so we can take advantage of the pool)! Thanks again for a lovely stay.

The hosts really provide a lovely place. It is charmingly done with a lot of attention to details. It has everything you would want in a quiet neighbourhood. We enjoyed the huge terasse very much. Communication is super easy, they are very forthcoming and respond quickly to those little questions one has once in a while and have an excellent info package ready for you on their site. You are quickly at the beach and the odd secluded bay is a couple of minutes with the car away. They provide little beach bags, towels and even sun hats showing the care they are giving in making your stay a enjoyable experience.

Jane and Simon's Apartment is beautifully presented and furnished to a very high standard. We found it to be so well equipped and with a wonderful extensive wrap around terrace offering spectacular views over the countryside to the sea. Even though it was December, there was always a corner with direct sunshine. There is direct access to the pool via lift, and it's within walking distance of the sea and town square. Jane is an excellent host and was so helpful and easy to communicate with. We stayed over Christmas and were delighted to find that the apartment had been tastefully decorated in advance, providing a lovely warm festive atmosphere. This was not necessary but such a kind thing to do. Everything provided, even beach towels, sun hats and Yoga mats. We had a very happy time at Sixteen Gozo and look forward to a return visit in Spring.

Gozo is a great place to enjoy a break. This property is the perfect place to base yourself. The penthouse is clean and exceptionally well furnished. The roof terrace is a perfect place to relax in a quiet location, with a beautiful view. I would highly recommend this property.

My husband and I stayed at Jane’s apartment for five days and can’t explain how much we loved it. We immediately felt at home which is credit to Jane’s beautiful decoration. Communication was always easy and it was clear that Jane really wanted us to have the best experience possible in Gozo. It was spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything we needed and more. We used a lot of the recommendations in the house manual/website which were all great (bicycle hire, downloading the Bolt app, restaurant recommendations etc.) A real highlight is the terrace that catches the sun all hours of the day. What a wonderful place! True to the photos and then even better. We had a wonderful family holiday with everything we could have needed and more. A perfect place to wind down, unplug, relax and do nothing. AND/OR get out and see the beautiful landscape, beaches, coves, water and culture that Gozo has to offer. The little market up the road allows easy access to food, a short walk into the village provides even more. A car is not needed, taxi's can get you everywhere. Jane was avaible before and during for questions and could not have been more helpful. We can't wait to go back.

My family and I had the pleasure of staying in Jane's penthouse apartment for 2 weeks in July. It's truly a wonderful place which showcases Jane's exquisite taste in the stunning interiors and the layout and design of the beautiful sunny terrace. The entire apartment is of a very high specification and Jane has thought of every last detail for guests. Communication was excellent throughout our booking and during the stay. The appartment has a stunning pool and is located 5 mins from the best beach in Gozo. We would go again in a flash and loved the island which has a rustic, rugged beauty with amazing views around every corner. Awesome

We stayed at this beautiful penthouse apartment for 3 weeks and we loved everything about it. The apartment itself was impeccably clean, the kitchen was exceptionally well equipped, the outside area was stunning and very well set out. The apartment block is small with 16 apartments in total, mainly all Maltese and owned their properties, they were so welcoming and it was lovely to get to know them around the shared pool area. We go to Gozo most summers and we would definitely book this year on year. It was perfect! Jane was a wonderful host always replying to any questions we had. She contacted us to make sure we’d arrived and throughout our trip to make sure all was well.

5* place on a beautiful island. My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights of our 10 day holiday in Gozo & Malta - we wish we had stayed here for the full 10 days. Absolutely beautiful property, with everything you need to have a relaxing time away. The kitchen and BBQ was fully equipped with everything you need and plenty of seating indoor and outdoor (we loved eating outside on the terrace at every opportunity). Although we spent most of our time on the terrace enjoying the sun and the stars, the shared pool was very good and clean. Wonderful views of the Gozo countryside and sea views in sight. Would recommend to anyone wanting to visit Gozo. Jane was a superb host with brilliant recommendations for places to visit and eat, and was always quick to respond to our queries.

Staying at Jane’s place was one of the most (if not the most) satisfactory experiences. The penthouse is exactly as in the pictures or even better. Everything is stylishly decorated and, most important, the house has absolutely ALL you need. Have you ever been in a place where you have a tablet, 2 hair straighteners, a yoga mat, binoculars, as much adapters for english plugs as you need… ? Jane is a great host. She has always been very reactive and send us messages giving us essential information before our arrival. She even has a website where you can find all you need to know about the island, where to eat, the activities to do, etc. We have arrived to Gozo by car (and ferry) from Malta. It is very useful to have a car to easily explore the island. There is also a nice pool in the common area. We recommend 200% this place !

This is quite possibly one of the best Airbnb's we've ever stayed in. Equipped so well with everything you could possibly need, a fantastic deck and BBQ area, really beautiful en suite bathroom for the master and air conditioners everywhere. The hosts really have thought of everything and we couldn't recommend it enough! Super friendly neighbours also and close to a lot of things in Gozo.

This was our third stay at Jane’s place, so we obviously love it! The apartment is very comfortable and furnished to a high standard. The kitchen is also very well equipped which is a pleasant change for Gozo. The outside space is also thoughtfully done including a cold shower, should you choose not to go down to the pool. The whole apartment has AC. I really can’t think of anything negative to say and we hope to return soon.

Looked better in real life than the photos. Even had a few essentials waiting for us. We were there during the heat wave but the air conditioning and pool were perfect. Didn't mind staying in during the day to enjoy the views. It really was a wonderful holiday. Jane even had set out lots of baby equipment ready. Thanks Jane & Simon for helping us have a perfect family holiday. I would highly recommend!!

The best and most beautiful Airbnb I ever experience. The thing we kept repeating during our stay: so aesthetically pleasing, it's honestly a memorable experience. I will highly recommend this Airbnb to my entourage planning on visiting Malta. The entire Gozo experience is worthy just by staying at Jane's place. And that's even without mentionning how Jane is a thoughful and welcoming host. Again, the best I have ever encounter. Wish we could have stayed longer for sure.

Jane's penthouse accommodation was the perfect break for those who want to rest and reset in a calm, quiet environment. The place was squeaky clean, beautifully furnished, and had thoughtful additions that guests will appreciate! Watching the sun rise and set from the balcony felt like a little piece of magic, and am very grateful for the ease and friendliness offered at every moment. Another highlight was the daily fruit and vege man, meaning we didn't have to walk into the small village up the road in the heat! great to have local produce and very cost-effective pricing too. Get onto the local apps for food (Walt) and rides (Bolt) for when you want a little more adventure in your days. Highly recommend, would stay again in a flash!

Words don't do this place justice but if I had to write one it would simply be WOW! WOW, WOW, WOW. From the minute I entered the Penthouse that's all I kept saying! It's simply stunning. Every room is so beautifully and tastefully decorated and there is so much detail everywhere that you'll discover new things even after you've been there a few days. The terrace has such a beautiful vibe that you could sit out there for hours plus there's the added bonus of the gorgeous outdoor pool which we would often end our days at. The location of the Penthouse is perfect and we found that all of the best sites of Gozo were never more than a 20 minute drive away. Jane and Simon were fab at communicating both before and during our stay and provided lots of useful info on the guest website. My family and I are so happy that we chose their place for our first visit to the beautiful island of Gozo.
